Glaser Weil Represents Jason Reitman in Acquisition of Westwood’s Iconic Fox Village Theater

Glaser Weil represented filmmaker Jason Reitman in the acquisition of the Fox Village Theater, an iconic art deco institution in Westwood.

The theater, built in 1930,  has hosted premieres for several of Reitman’s films, including Juno, Up in the Air and Ghostbusters Afterlife, as well as those for his father Ivan Reitman and major studios such as Apple TV+, Amazon and Netflix. 35 filmmakers, including J.J. Abrams, Bradley Cooper, Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg and Chloé Zhao, joined Reitman in the venture.

Glaser Weil is proud to have facilitated this significant transaction, ensuring the theater's continued legacy. The deal was led by Roger Howard and included partners Jason Grinnell, Thomas Hanley, Jeffrey Soza and Associate Tigran Samvelyan.
