Overview
Shannon W. Rieger is a litigation associate in Glaser Weil’s Century City office who represents clients in a variety of complex commercial matters.
Shannon has experience supporting all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery and contributing to case strategy and client communications. She works closely with clients and senior attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies and help drive matters toward efficient resolution.
Shannon’s practice has primarily focused on:
- Commercial and business disputes
- Commercial litigation involving distressed businesses and related stakeholders
- Entertainment and media-related matters
- Sports and name, image and likeness (NIL) issues
Prior to joining Glaser Weil, Shannon was an associate at an Am Law 100 firm. During law school, Shannon gained hands-on client experience through the Frank D. Lanterman Special Education Law Clinic, where she conducted client interviews, managed her own caseload and advocated for clients in administrative proceedings.
Shannon earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Entertainment Law Review and was actively involved in the Name, Image & Likeness Clinic, Sports Law Federation and Law Women. She also completed a specialization in Entertainment, Media and Policy. She received her M.S. in Sport Management from the University of Florida and her B.S., summa cum laude, in Sport Management from the University of Florida, where she was awarded the Honors Program Medal.
