Overview

Alina Gatto is a litigation associate in Glaser Weil’s Century City office, where she focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitrations. Alina has experience handling matters involving breach of contract, consumer protection, unfair competition, false advertising, privacy disputes and regulatory compliance, across both individual and class actions.

She has drafted dispositive motions and pleadings, conducted legal research, managed discovery, taken and defended depositions and engaged in settlement negotiations.

Her practice includes extensive representation of clients in:

  • Complex commercial and financial disputes
  • Consumer protection and privacy litigation
  • Environmental and regulatory compliance matters
  • Class actions and arbitration

Before joining Glaser Weil, Alina practiced at several international law firms, where she represented clients in high-stakes litigation across a range of industries. Her prior experience also includes clerkships with the California Attorney General’s Office and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and an internship with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she held Top Secret clearance and participated in investigations on violent crime and counterintelligence matters.

Alina earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she received numerous high honors. She was recognized as a Gold Honors Scholar and Public Interest Scholar and served as President of the Armenian Law Students Association and Events Chair of the Criminal Law Society. She was an active member of the Moot Court Honors Program, Trademark Moot Court and the Post-Conviction Justice Project. Alina earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Psychology from Georgetown University and minored in both Spanish and Sociology.
