Sheridan Quoted in ‘San Francisco Chronicle’ on La Cañada Flintridge Litigation

Peter Sheridan, Partner and Chair of Glaser Weil’s Construction Practice Group, was interviewed by the San Francisco Chronicle in a piece regarding the City of La Cañada Flintridge’s use of the Supreme Court college admissions decision to argue that one of the many housing laws in California is unconstitutional.

Sheridan, who represents the City, clarified the client’s argument that it is not subject to the so-called builder’s remedy and, moreover, that the state statute imposing the duty to “affirmatively further fair housing” is vague and unconstitutional.
