Daily Journal Top Defense Verdict: FBP Investments LP v. Sea Prestigio LLC

Glaser Weil Partner and Litigation Department Chair Patricia Glaser earned a spot on the Daily Journal’s list of Top Defense Verdicts for her representation of Broadcom Corp. co-founder Henry Nicholas in FBP Investments LP v. Sea Prestigio LLC, over a loan dispute with $25 million in damages. Following a two-week trial, a judge determined there was "no basis" for the plaintiff's claims and awarded Glaser Weil's clients $15 million plus interests and attorneys' fees, ultimately a $28 million award for the client.
