Glaser Weil’s Entertainment Department Chair Douglas Stone and Partner Barbara Rubin were honored in Variety’s “Dealmakers Impact Report 2021: Top Negotiators Behind Mega Deals.” In this year’s annual edition of top dealmakers, the firm’s leading attorneys were recognized for their notable negotiations in Hollywood.

Barbara M. Rubin is a veteran entertainment attorney who puts her extensive in-house studio business and legal affairs experience to work for writers, producers, actors, directors and small production companies in both reality and scripted television and film. She is hailed for her work as an educator, including her role as Assistant Visiting Professor and Executive Director of the Entertainment Law Practicum at Loyola Law School.

Douglas R. Stone represents actors, writers, directors, and producers. In addition to the representation of talent clients, he has extensive experience working with producers, financiers, filmmakers and production companies in the independent film and television world as well as executive producing and packaging feature film projects.
