Gerchik Named ‘Mentor of the Year’ Finalist at LA Business Journal’s Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards 2026
Glaser Weil litigation partner Julie Gerchik was recognized as a finalist for Mentor of the Year at the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards, held June 9, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.
This sold-out event convened leading voices across Los Angeles for a half-day program focused on leadership, collaboration and advancing women in business, followed by an awards luncheon celebrating those making a meaningful impact in the community.
Gerchik’s recognition reflects her outstanding commitment to mentorship and leadership. As Co-Chair of Glaser Weil’s Litigation Department and a leader in recruiting and associate development, she has built a reputation for investing deeply in the growth and success of others. She founded and continues to lead the Firm’s mentorship program and is widely recognized for fostering a culture where attorneys—particularly women and working parents—are supported, developed and empowered to thrive.
In addition to her accomplished litigation practice representing a diverse range of clients in complex matters, Gerchik’s dedication to mentorship extends beyond formal programs. From hosting a monthly working parents group to her longstanding involvement in organizations such as the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and Bet Tzedek, she has made a lasting impact on the legal community.
