Overview

Sara Gardner is Of Counsel in Glaser Weil’s Corporate Department, where she advises clients on a broad range of transactional matters, including venture capital, debt and equity financing, corporate governance, commercial contracts, as well as domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

With over a decade of legal experience, Sara represents companies at all stages of growth—from early-stage startups to established enterprises—across diverse industries, including emerging technologies such as robotics and blockchain. Her practice encompasses structuring and negotiating complex financing arrangements, M&A transactions and secured lending. She also provides day-to-day counsel on general corporate advisory matters.

Before joining Glaser Weil, Sara worked as a contract attorney for several prominent firms, including a Beverly Hills-based firm where she supported corporate transactions and regulatory matters. She also practiced at a Delaware-based firm, focusing on structured finance and securities.

Sara earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she interned for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and held multiple research assistantships. She received her B.B.A. in Economics with honors from the University of Iowa, along with an International Business Certificate and a minor in Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and hosting parties, playing tennis and practicing Spanish.

  • Infrastructure investor Upwell Water LLC and strategic investor Elah Holdings, Inc., in multiple complex transactions focused on water infrastructure and the preservation and monetization of tax assets.*
  • A Bitcoin ATM provider in purchasing a controlling interest in one of its principal software service providers and in connection with a secured debt financing*
