Celia Spalding is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group. She represents individual and corporate clients in internal investigations and defends companies in class action, consumer fraud and products liability litigation. Celia has experience representing clients in a variety of industries, including media, consulting, retail, food, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, banking, accounting, finance and waste management.
Prior to joining Glaser Weil, Celia was a senior associate in the complex commercial litigation group at an Am Law 10 firm. She served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Timothy A. Barnes of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Celia earned her J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as Development Editor for the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. She received a B.A., summa cum laude, in English from San Diego State University.
Defended a dietary supplement manufacturer in a consumer class action that was recognized by the Daily Journal as one of the “Top Defense Verdicts” of 2020.
