Law360 Pulse featured the newest addition to Glaser Weil’s Corporate Department, Chris Manderson, in “Glaser Weil Brings On Ervin Cohen M&A Ace In LA.” In the piece, James Mills highlights Manderson’s decision to join the Firm’s Century City office as a partner.

In an interview, Manderson shared what drew him to Glaser Weil: “There was a good opportunity to join a great firm with a great client roster and some succession opportunities... [Glaser Weil] really has the right platform, a stellar reputation here in California and stellar client list without the downsides of a big international firm.”

He also reflected on his passion for mergers and acquisitions work: “M&A touches everything and [it] is always strategic... You see all kinds of industries and all kinds of different transactions. M&A gives you this really interesting broad look at what’s going on in the economy and the world.”

Manderson brings over two decades of experience in high-stakes M&A transactions, capital fundraising and distressed deals. He has advised public and private companies, private equity investors and entrepreneurs, and has held leadership roles both in private practice and in-house.
