On the heels of its 35th anniversary, Glaser Weil is launching a new look to kick off its next chapter. The Los Angeles-based firm’s refreshed brand and new website align with its accomplishments and its focus on a next generation of leaders, with revised messaging and a contemporary logo and color palette.

“Our firm has evolved. We want to ensure its identity and messaging accurately reflect who we are in 2024 and where we plan to be in the future,” said Managing Partner Peter Weil.

Long recognized for its litigation prowess, the firm Weil co-founded with Patty Glaser and others in 1988 is now a successful, full-service law firm with approximately 100 attorneys, also noted for achieving market-leading successes in corporate, intellectual property and real estate across various key industry sectors, including entertainment, banking and financial services, construction, environment, energy, and real estate. In addition to its headquarters in Century City, the firm has offices in Newport Beach, San Francisco and, most recently, San Diego, where Glaser Weil opened an outpost in July 2022 with a single attorney; it since has grown to five lawyers.

How the Rebrand Reflects Glaser Weil’s Identity

Glaser Weil has long ago established itself as a provider of powerful legal services, and the rebrand takes full advantage of that perception, infusing “power” themes in the messaging and images throughout the site. For example, the homepage’s turbine imagery and accompanying copy “empowering winning outcomes” and “power-packed counsel” reinforce the Firm’s value proposition.

The new website also strategically highlights the Firm’s constellation of talent. On the homepage, Firm leaders invite viewers to meet their colleagues, including the many next-generation lawyers now enjoying success in their respective practices. The contributions of rising stars are consistently emphasized throughout the site.

The Firm’s core values and strategic priorities also play a leading role. The rebrand reflects Glaser Weil’s commitment to extraordinary client service, collaboration, innovation and delivery of optimal results for clients.

How the New Look Showcases the Glaser Weil Way

The website connotes strength, power and laser focus, and the use of eye-catching imagery illustrates performance. Colors are bold, predominantly sapphire with accent colors in jewel tones, and the typography is modern and sophisticated. The Firm invested time and resources in extensive photography to include photos of its present and upcoming leaders with other inviting graphics providing clients and potential clients a panoramic view of and authentic view into the Firm.

What Glaser Weil’s Rebranding Process Involved

The Firm retained a seasoned consultancy to lead the process, which began with interviews of key stakeholders, management committee members and next-generation leaders. The Firm considered several design directions and multiple logos, and reached a consensus through an iterative process. Presented with the final product, attorneys expressed tremendous enthusiasm for the new brand, finding the messaging “crisp and clear” and the look “classy and modern.”

Embracing the Future

As Glaser Weil looks to its future, identifying exceptional lawyers with both excellent legal skills and exemplary leadership qualities is front and center. This will ensure the Firm continues to thrive for many years to come.

“We are excited about the direction for our firm and delighted we are able to illustrate our vision moving forward,” said Weil. “Our rebrand isn’t merely a new logo and website; it’s also an investment to ensure Glaser Weil remains vibrant and relevant. We are fostering the development of future leaders by imparting our fundamental principles and providing them with the necessary resources for success.”
