Glaser Weil Construction Practice Group Chair Peter C. Sheridan and Litigation Partner Rob Lee will speak at the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA) 2026 International Conference & Induction of Fellows, taking place October 21-23, 2026, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The annual conference brings together distinguished construction attorneys, alternative dispute resolution professionals and industry leaders from across North America and around the world to discuss emerging issues, best practices and developments affecting the construction and development industries.

Sheridan and Lee will present a session examining Chestlen Development's landmark construction dispute against Tutor Perini arising from delays and construction defects in the development of the 750-room, 52-story Element Philadelphia Downtown by Westin (Marriott). The presentation will explore litigation strategy, trial preparation and key lessons from the matter, in which Glaser Weil and our co-counsel Jonathan Korn from Blank Rome LLP in Philadelphia secured a liability ruling following a five-week bench trial and $179 million in compensatory damages for the client.

Sheridan leads Glaser Weil's Construction Practice Group and served as the 2023 President of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. Lee focuses on high-stakes commercial and construction disputes.

In addition to speaking at the conference, Lee will be formally inducted as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America during the organization's gala.
