Orabona to Speak on Criminal Tax Panel at USD School of Law Tax Institute
Glaser Weil Investigations and White Collar Litigation Partner Joseph Orabona will serve as a panelist at the 11th Annual USD School of Law – RJS LAW Tax Institute presented by Whittier Trust, taking place on July 17, 2026, at the University of San Diego School of Law.
The annual Tax Institute brings together leading tax attorneys, accountants, government officials, judges and industry professionals to discuss significant developments in tax law, controversy, planning, enforcement and compliance. The program features a full day of educational sessions covering topics ranging from international tax and estate litigation to cryptocurrency and tax controversy.
Orabona will participate in the session titled “Criminal Tax Workshop.” Drawing on his experience as a former Chief of the Special Prosecutions Section and Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California, Orabona will share insights into the investigation and prosecution of criminal tax matters and emerging trends in tax enforcement.
