Glaser Weil Litigation Of Counsel James Sargent will moderate a panel titled “Men of Color: Building Understanding, Success Strategies and Authentic Connection” at the California Minority Counsel Program’s 2023 Annual Business Conference, which will take place in San Francisco, September 20-22, 2023.

The panelists will engage in an interactive discussion on the experience of men of color in the legal sector. They will:

  • Examine career and other data on male lawyers of color
  • Explore challenges including stereotyping, bias and exclusion
  • Discuss the importance of creating a space to share experiences and build connections
  • Explore strategies to overcome challenges and promote the professional development of men of color across industries

The conference will bring together over 500 attorneys of color from diverse backgrounds, including law firm associates, in-house general counsel at corporations, and executives from public and civic agencies for a three-day event packed with networking opportunities, informative CLE sessions, and the chance to reconnect with diverse attorneys and leaders in the diversity field throughout California.
