Glaser Weil is proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Western Justice Center's Empower 2026 Gala on October 1, 2026, at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles.

Empower celebrates the students, educators and community leaders helping to build safer, more connected school communities across Los Angeles. Through the event, Western Justice Center raises support for conflict resolution and restorative justice programs that empower young people to lead with empathy, accountability and courage.

At this year's event, Glaser Weil leader Patricia L. Glaser will receive the Champion of Justice Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the legal profession and commitment to promoting justice and positive community impact.

Western Justice Center equips students and educators with conflict resolution and restorative practices skills that help build safer, more connected communities. Through its Restorative Schools Initiative, the organization partners with schools across Los Angeles County to foster healthy relationships, reduce conflict and empower young people as leaders. During the most recent school year, WJC trained 664 student peer mediators, supported 718 educators in restorative justice practices, partnered with 38 schools across eight districts and reached more than 28,000 students annually through its programming.

Glaser Weil is also proud of partner Kerry Garvis Wright’s leadership with the organization. Garvis Wright serves on the Western Justice Center Board of Directors and chairs the Empower 2026 Gala Committee.
