Glaser Weil Continues Commitment to Judicial Mentorship Through WLALA Power Lunch Sponsorship

Glaser Weil is proud to continue its support as a 2025 Champion Sponsor of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA) Foundation’s Hon. Beverly Reid O’Connell Power Lunch Program.

Founded by Judge O’Connell, a long-time WLALA board member, the Power Lunch Program provides civic education, judicial mentorship and exposure to the judicial branch for local high school students. Students visit courthouses across Los Angeles County to have lunch with judges, lawyers, courtroom staff and law enforcement professionals, learning about the Constitution and the legal system through interactive presentations and small group discussions. Each session concludes with a spirited game of “Judicial Jeopardy.”

WLALA’s mission is to promote the full participation of women lawyers and judges from diverse backgrounds in the legal profession, uphold fairness and equality in the legal system and improve the status of women by supporting equal rights, representation and reproductive choice. Glaser Weil Partner Cynthia Organ serves on the Board of Governors of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Foundation and as a co-chair of power lunch committee.
