The Opportunity

At Glaser Weil, you will work with a team of passionate and driven attorneys on sophisticated and high-profile real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, complex commercial leasing, joint ventures, development, operational issues, and real estate finance. The successful candidate will be forward-thinking and well-rounded, with the ability to become a leader both within and beyond the legal profession. This position is based in our Century City (Los Angeles) office.

Attractive Candidates Will Have:

  • 3–7 years of substantive experience drafting, negotiating, and revising commercial purchase and sale agreements, and commercial leases
  • A strong foundation in title and survey review, diligence, and coordinating closings for purchase and sale transactions
  • Impeccable written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills
  • A can do attitude and self-starter mindset
  • The ability to excel in a collaborative team while confidently handling significant individual responsibilities and direct client contact
  • Demonstrated engagement with the real estate industry (e.g., participation in ULI, NAIOP, CREFC, or similar organizations)
  • Excellent academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
  • California Bar admission

Compensation

The base compensation range for this position is $200,000 – $275,000. These numbers do not reflect a successful candidate’s total compensation. Base compensation is only the guaranteed component of the total compensation package and does not include discretionary bonuses and the other career-enhancing opportunities of joining the Firm.
