Sargent Honored by LACBA for Leadership and Community Impact
Glaser Weil Litigation Partner James Sargent, was recently honored by the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) for his leadership and meaningful contributions to the legal community.
A seasoned first‑chair trial lawyer, Sargent has tried nearly 70 cases to verdict, representing corporate and individual clients in complex commercial, entertainment and white‑collar matters. He is widely recognized for his ability to distill complex disputes into clear, persuasive narratives and for his strategic, trial‑ready approach to litigation.
A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and former Air Force pilot, Sargent brings a lifelong commitment to service to both his practice and community involvement. He is a lifetime member and board member of the John M. Langston Bar Association of Los Angeles and serves on the California Minority Counsel Program’s Ambassadors Council, where he advocates for mentorship, diversity and expanded access to opportunity within the profession.
