Glaser Weil Ranked Among “Top Lobbying Firms” in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal
Glaser Weil’s Government & Regulatory Department has been honored for the seventh consecutive year by the Los Angeles Business Journal. The business publication released its annual list of the top 24 firms in the county, ranked by fee income.
The distinguished members of the Government & Regulatory department previously worked for local governmental entities or served on local commissions, giving them a deep understanding of real estate development and the political and administrative process. The group is led by partners and co-chairs Clare Bronowski and Elisa Paster. Their commanding legal knowledge and relationships with city staffers help developers successfully steer through the complex landscape of local rules, regulations and laws that govern many land use projects.
Ms. Bronowski’s practice covers a wide range of development areas, including redevelopment law, zoning, planning and permitting. She has received recognition for her specialized knowledge in California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, including the preparation and legal defense of environmental impact reports and mitigated negative declarations.
Ms. Paster is committed to creating great places, working to produce housing for all income levels, and building strong and effective relationships. She regularly represents private developers in development of high end hotels and large scale developments, mid- size developers in transformative urban mixed- use projects inside and outside former redevelopment areas, and a wide variety of property owners in the Coastal Zone.
