Glaser Weil partners Kerry Garvis Wright and George Wall have been recognized among Lawdragon’s 2026 “500 Leading Lawyers in America.”

Now in its 21st year, this award honors the nation’s most accomplished attorneys—those who lead at the highest levels for their clients, firms and communities. The 2026 guide reflects a year of challenge, change and resilience within the legal profession. As Lawdragon noted, it was an unprecedented period shaped by Executive Orders affecting major law firms, the continued rise of boutiques, booming litigation activity, renewed dealmaking and expanding focus on areas including energy and artificial intelligence.

Garvis Wright, a litigation partner and chair of Glaser Weil’s employment practice, is widely recognized for her skill in high‑stakes employment litigation and strategic counseling. Since launching the firm’s employment practice, she has been consistently named one of the top labor and employment lawyers in California and the nation.

Wall, a senior partner in Glaser Weil’s Corporate Department who leads the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice, is widely regarded as one of Southern California’s leading M&A attorneys. Over the course of his more than 40‑year career, he has worked on over 500 transactions, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, sales and reorganizations, venture capital transactions, securities, fund formations and comprehensive tax planning.

An important contingent of the Lawdragon 500 can be found in the organization’s “Hall of Fame.” Glaser Weil attorneys who have been previously selected for the “Hall of Fame” include Patricia Glaser (2019) and Robert Shapiro (2023).
