Gali Grant, a partner in Glaser Weil’s Litigation Department, handles various matters on behalf of a diverse range of clients, including large and small businesses, financial institutions, investment funds, high-net worth individuals, corporate directors, hotels, and municipalities. Gali’s practice has included national and international cases involving high stakes corporate and financial disputes, complex contract disputes, intellectual property, the False Claims Act, civil rights, and employment disputes.
Gali received her law degree from Loyola Law School, where she was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society and a member of Loyola's nationally ranked Byrne Trial Advocacy Team. She also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. R. Gary Klausner, U.S. District Court judge for the Central District of California.
Gali received her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in law and society from the University of California, San Diego.
Gali is committed to serving her community and works with other attorneys in Los Angeles to organize drives for food and other necessities to help those in need. She is also a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, where she assists with enhancing the infrastructure and overall culture of the firm.
Obtained $28 million dollar judgment for Nicholas Holdings, Inc. after 12-day trial in a loan dispute.
Obtained a complete defense jury verdict in a civil rights case brought against a global hotel chain and prevailed on the hotel’s affirmative counterclaims.
Successfully defended against multiple wrongful termination and wage and hour claims brought by former employees against an international apparel company.
Defeated professional malpractice claims brought against an accounting firm at the pleading stage.
Representing a former executive in the entertainment industry in an action to enforce her rights against her former employers.
Obtained a judgment in favor of a film production company in its breach of contract action against an international film distributor.
Represented pro bono clients in multiple 42 U.S.C. § 1983 cases.
Represented individual employers in disputes with domestic employees and developed employment practices and handbooks to protect employers.
Successfully defended former president of publicly traded company in Blue Sky securities fraud case.
