Glaser Weil is pleased to announce that Peter J. Breckheimer II, Partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Department, and Andrew Choung, Partner and Head of the Patent and Technology Practice, have been appointed to Law360’s 2017 Editorial Advisory Board in their respective practice areas. In these roles, Mr. Breckheimer and Mr. Choung, together with other experts in their fields, will provide feedback on the publication’s coverage to help shape and inform future coverage.
Mr. Breckheimer represents owners, developers, private-equity investors, lenders and other sophisticated clients in all aspects of their real estate-related transactions. In particular, Mr. Breckheimer has successfully represented clients in the purchase, sale and financing of retail shopping centers nationwide, most recently having handled and closed more than $1.75 billion of such deals throughout the West Coast, with asset values ranging from $5 million to just under $200 million. Mr. Breckheimer has served on Law360’s Real Estate editorial advisory board since 2013.
Mr. Choung specializes in patent litigation with a practice and experience that runs the gamut of IP law. His primary focus is on high-tech, complex patent litigation and strategic counseling, including the development of both assertion and non-assertion monetization programs, and AIA proceedings such as IPRs, CBMs and PGRs. He also advises clients on patent portfolio development, patent acquisitions and licensing, and IP due diligence. With a footprint in both the U.S. and Asia, Mr. Choung also has experience in assisting and counseling clients on cross-border matters, including multi-country patent enforcement.
