Julie R. F. Gerchik, Litigation Partner at Glaser Weil, was asked to comment by The Wall Street Journal in its recent article “Andrew Cuomo Seeks Records, Depositions From Women Who Accused Him of Sexual Harassment” regarding subpoenas the former governor’s legal team sent as part of his defense against a federal lawsuit.
Of the 11 women who were sexually harassed by the former governor over the course of his three terms, subpoenas were sent to multiple women, including our client Lindsey Boylan.
Gerchik, who leads the Firm’s representation of Ms. Boylan, stated that her client has already participated in two investigations and said, “The extreme nature of this latest subpoena directed at my client demonstrates that Mr. Cuomo has no qualms about continuing his harassment of the women he abused and is using taxpayer dollars to do so.”
Gerchik litigates all types of complex disputes and has considerable experience in all aspects investigations and both trial and arbitration work in federal and state court. She brings the exacting skill required to effectively handle sensitive and confidential personal disputes in all arenas.
