Glaser Weil Welcomes Two Partners to Its Corporate and Litigation Practices

Los Angeles, CA – Glaser Weil is pleased to announce that Marc Indeglia, corporate and securities partner and Emil Petrossian, litigation partner have joined the firm. Based in the firm’s Century City office, Marc and Emil offer distinct specialties in the areas of mergers & acquisition, securities, and commercial and business litigation.

“We are thrilled to welcome Emil and Marc to our team – both bring a wealth of knowledge and unique experience that are valuable to furthering our capabilities and services,” said Managing Partner Peter M. Weil.

Marc Indeglia has extensive experience in representing clients on a variety of corporate transactions, including initial and other public offerings, SPAC and reverse merger transactions, PIPE offerings, venture and private equity financings, private placements, and other private financings. He represents and advises companies in mergers and acquisitions, securities law and public reporting requirements, corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, corporate formations, corporate restructurings, and stock exchange listings and compliance. He has also represented and defended clients in connection with civil and criminal investigations, including those brought by the Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, FINRA, and state securities regulators.

He also serves as the President of The Small Public Company Coalition, a federal advocacy coalition that represents the small public company community, comprised of small businesses, investment firms, and other participants in the middle, small and microcap markets through government relations, lobbying, and public education initiatives.

Mr. Indeglia earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Management Science (with concentrations in Finance and Economics) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Emil Petrossian’s practice entails all facets of complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts and arbitral forums. In addition to having significant jury trial experience in both state and federal courts, he has handled numerous arbitrations and has substantial appellate experience, having handled appeals for his clients in the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Fifth Circuits and the California Court of Appeal.

Mr. Petrossian is an active member of the community and serves on the Board of Directors of the Constitutional Rights Foundation. In addition to client-billable work, he regularly handles pro bono matters, including nationally significant impact litigations. Recently, he took a lead role in the California cases challenging former Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross’s attempts to add a citizenship question to the 2020 Census, resulting in a permanent injunction prohibiting the question. Mr. Petrossian will be actively involved in firm leadership initiatives and will co-chair Glaser Weil’s Litigation Recruiting Committee.

Mr. Petrossian earned his J.D. cum laude from Loyola Law School and graduated from Whitman College and clerked for the Honorable Gary A. Feess (ret.) after law school.

“Emil and Marc are exceptional additions to the firm,” said Partner and Chair of the Litigation Department Patricia L. Glaser. “These attorneys are highly respected in their fields and will make significant contributions to better serve our clients.”
