Aaron Swerdlow guides emerging technology, sports and entertainment clients with transactional, employment and corporate law matters. His practice includes drafting and negotiating private equity, corporate restructuring, and licensing and employment agreements for technology and sports executives.
A respected writer and thought leader in his field, Mr. Swerdlow has authored articles regarding the business of sports, including e-sports, for publications such as Law360 and GamesBeat, and been quoted or recognized for his work on complex business transactions in publications including USA Today, the SportsBusiness Journal, Bloomberg BNA, the Financial Times, Variety and other leading outlets on cutting-edge issues in the areas of emerging technology and sports law. He is also a member of The American Lawyer’s Young Lawyer Editorial Board and Law360’s Sports Editorial Advisory Board.
Prior to joining Glaser Weil, Mr. Swerdlow was with the Los Angeles office of a medium-sized national law firm. He is also the former general counsel of a boutique sports agency, where he advised professional and NCAA basketball coaches and retired NBA athletes on employment, licensing, sponsorship, estate planning and equity investment matters.
Mr. Swerdlow received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an Executive Articles Editor of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with honors.
