Amin Al-Sarraf Appointed to State Bar’s Legal Services Trust Fund Commission

Glaser Weil LLP is pleased to announce that Amin Al-Sarraf, a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department, has been appointed by the California State Bar Board of Trustees to serve on its Legal Services Trust Fund Commission for a three-year term. The Legal Services Trust Fund Commission oversees and administers the funding of non-profit and pro bono legal services programs serving low-income communities throughout California through the Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Program, the Equal Access Fund and the Justice Gap Fund. Mr. Al-Sarraf will be one of only 24 members, which include attorneys, non-attorneys and judges from across the state.

In addition to his civil litigation practice, Mr. Al-Sarraf is also committed to his pro bono practice.  He is a co-founder and co-chair of Glaser Weil’s Pro Bono Committee, which works closely with local public interest organizations to provide pro bono assistance in domestic violence and immigration cases, primarily, and at numerous legal clinics throughout Los Angeles. Mr. Al-Sarraf is also co-president of the Muslim Bar Association of Southern California.
