What We Look For In A Recruit

Glaser Weil has been fortunate over the years in attracting well-rounded individuals with the potential to become leaders both within and beyond the legal profession. Excellent academic qualifications are of primary importance, and most of our attorneys hail from major national law schools. Many have served on law review, and we consider writing experience a major plus.

The Firm expects candidates to have demonstrated scholastic achievement. Yet we might be more impressed with a recruit who finishes in the top ten percent at a local or regional school than one with an undistinguished record at a prestigious national school. The Firm also recognizes the value of lawyers with post-graduate degrees in substantive fields (such as MBA's and CPA's). In addition, a number of our lawyers have held one or more judicial clerkships after law school.
