William C. Mullen
William Mullen, an Associate in Glaser Weil’s Litigation Department, focuses his practice on business litigation. Mr. Mullen’s experience includes representing companies and individuals in commercial, employment, corporate, partnership and fiduciary duty litigation matters before courts and in arbitration.
He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Mullen served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Robert M. Dow, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and a judicial intern to the Hon. Raymond W. Mitchell on the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division in Chicago, Illinois. He also was a law clerk at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago.

Represented Los Angeles County against claims by charter school for violation of equal protection related to the assessment of certain real property taxes; obtained favorable decision following one-week bench trial.
Represented hospital network in lawsuit against health plan for reimbursement of emergency medical services provided to health plan’s members; obtained favorable settlement for the hospital.
Represented investor involved in hotel and restaurant developments regarding arbitration and other lawsuits against managing member of company for breach of the operating agreement and breach of fiduciary duty
Represented bank against claims for aiding and abetting conversion and breach of fiduciary duty involving an alleged fraudulent investment scheme; obtained favorable settlement early-on in the case.
Represented high-profile athlete against claims of sexual harassment, breach of contract, wrongful termination and employment code violations; obtained settlement after successful demurrers and aggressive early discovery.
Represented television actress in business dispute with former partners over shuttered restaurant business; obtained settlement on the eve of trial.
Defended financial advisor against tortious interference claims in connection with alleged finder’s fees for sale of businesses; obtained settlement on behalf of client.
