John C. Goad
John Goad, a partner in Glaser Weil’s Real Estate group, has a broad-based practice. He represents clients in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, real estate secured and mezzanine financing, commercial leasing transactions and all aspects of title and survey diligence.
Mr. Goad also has experience handling title insurance coverage matters, which gives him a unique insight when it comes to analyzing his client’s diligence concerns.
Outside of the firm, Mr. Goad is an avid hiker and outdoorsman.
Acted as lead associate in connection with a real estate fund’s acquisition of a $175 million real estate portfolio consisting of multiple shopping centers in Washington and Oregon.
Led the diligence team in connection with the origination of a hard money mezzanine loan for the development of 95 acres of raw land in Baltimore, Md.
Represented a Fortune 500 title insurance company in connection with several multi-million dollar coverage matters involving real property located in Nevada, Washington and elsewhere in the western United States.
