Jared Xu is an associate in the Litigation Department of Glaser Weil. Jared specializes in business disputes and litigation. He has achieved favorable results in complex cases involving business torts, real estate disputes, and contract disputes.
Jared’s litigation experience, in state and federal court, spans from the initial pleadings, to the discovery phase, to summary judgment, and all the way to appeal. Jared combines his knowledge of multiple languages, his background in academics, his business law specialization, and experience working at both large, international law firms and boutique firms to uniquely service clients.
Jared specialized in business law at the UCLA School of Law and actively follows the world of startups and venture capitalism. At UCLA law school, Jared competed in the Lowell Milken Institute-Sandler Prize for New Entrepreneurs and received the Second Place Prize.
During Jared’s free time, he enjoys working out and learning new languages. He speaks fluent Mandarin and Shanghainese; is proficient in Japanese and French; and is conversational in Portuguese.
