Glaser Weil’s Elisa Paster and Gali Grant Honored as “Women of Influence” by the Los Angeles Business Journal

Glaser Weil is pleased to announce that Elisa Paster and Gali Grant have been recognized as “Women of Influence” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. Ms. Paster is a partner and co-chair of the government & regulatory department and Ms. Grant is a partner in the litigation department.

The annual issue highlights outstanding women in Los Angeles for their contribution as influential professionals in their respective industries. Elisa and Gali are dedicated, experienced and accomplished attorneys who contribute significantly the success of Glaser Weil. In addition, they each devote substantial and impactful efforts to the betterment of the communities in which they work and live.

Elisa Paster is a passionate advocate for the development of housing in Los Angeles through her work as a land use attorney, her volunteer work with affordable housing organizations, and as a Planning Commissioner in the City of Santa Monica. Elisa strongly believes that safe and secure housing should be provided to those at every income level throughout our community.

Ms. Paster also formed Women Building LA. This organization focuses on networking and mentoring of women involved in real estate planning and development.

Gali Grant handles a variety of litigation matters on behalf of a diverse range of clients, including large and small businesses, financial institutions, municipalities and individuals. Ms. Grant’s practice has included matters involving complex contract disputes, intellectual property, the False Claims Act, civil rights and employment disputes.

She is also a member of Glaser Weil’s diversity & inclusion committee. Ms. Grant is part of the external initiatives team to promote outward diversity on behalf of the firm.
