Glaser Weil LLP is honored to be the recipient of the Western Justice Center’s 2017 Defender of Justice Award. This award is presented annually to a law firm that demonstrates a continuous and distinguished record of supporting alternative dispute resolution, public service and community involvement. Glaser Weil was selected for its vigorous, deeply engrained commitment to serving the communities in which it practices. The Firm’s lawyers serve as trustees, members of boards of directors and in other capacities in numerous charities and civic organizations and provide meaningful and impactful pro bono services. These efforts help strengthen the ties that bind Glaser Weil’s local and national communities while serving those who may be less fortunate or in serious need of legal services.

The award will be presented on November 4, 2017 at the annual Justice Awards Gala, which will be held at the California Club in downtown Los Angeles. Other honorees include Universal Music Group, a world leader in music-based entertainment, and Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean of Berkeley Law.
