Glaser Weil is proud to announce that Douglas Stone, Partner and Chair of the Firm’s Entertainment Department, has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s Power Lawyers 2026: Hollywood’s 100 Most Powerful Lawyers list.

The annual Power Lawyers issue recognizes 100 attorneys whose work over the past year helped shape the film and television industry, spanning blockbuster talent deals, high-stakes litigation and landmark studio transactions.

Stone was recognized for his continued representation of top-tier talent, including guiding Daniel Craig in his upcoming roles in Greta Gerwig’s Netflix adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew and a still-untitled Damien Chazelle prison drama. He also represented screenwriter Joe Eszterhas in negotiations with Amazon MGM Studios for a Basic Instinct reboot deal valued at up to $4 million—exceeding the payout for the original script.

Stone’s inclusion reflects his leadership in talent representation and his ability to navigate complex, high-profile dealmaking at the highest levels of the entertainment industry.
