Robert Shapiro is a Litigation partner and head of the Firm's White Collar Criminal Defense Group.  Named by The New York Times as one of the nation's most prominent attorneys, his list of high profile cases includes the defense of O.J. Simpson, Christian Brando, and Robert Evans.   Mr. Shapiro is also an expert in the field of international law, successfully representing numerous high profile clients across the globe including notable cases in China and Denmark.  He is the co-founder of two successful Internet firms, LegalZoom.com and Shoedazzle.com, and authored the bestseller “The Search for Justice” and “Misconception.” He combines his business and legal expertise to advise clients in business formation, disputes and litigation.

Mr. Shapiro received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School.

He has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers. He was the recipient of the Pro-Bono Lawyer of the Year award from the State of Nevada.
