Representative Matters
Litigation partner Mark Block represents clients in a broad range of areas including, complex business, intellectual property and employment litigation. His diverse clientele includes motion picture studios, real estate developers, financial institutions, and privately held businesses. Mr. Block received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with highest honors from the University of Tennessee, and his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Northwestern University. He was the President of his fraternity (Alpha Epsilon Pi) at the University of Tennessee, and was a member of the University's Debate Team (qualifying for the National Debate Tournament, for which the University had not sent a team in 28 years). At Northwestern, he served on the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Mr. Block is a member of the Westwood Village Rotary Club, where he has served as Vice President and Chairman of the International, Vocational and Youth Service Committees. He has also been active with Temple Menorah, serving on its Board of Trustees and providing it with pro bono legal representation. He also serves as the Cubmaster of Pack 759, where his youngest son is a cub scout. He has been selected for inclusion in Southern California Super Lawyers for six consecutive years. |
