Kevin J. Leichter is a partner and Chair of the Firm's Intellectual Property, New Media and Technology Practice Group. A seasoned litigator and trial lawyer, Mr. Leichter's practice encompasses a variety of business, entertainment and bankruptcy-related matters for individual and corporate clients in federal and state courts. As IP Chair, he has a hugely successful track record representing clients in a range of intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, unfair competition, and right of publicity. Mr. Leichter received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, and a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law. Following law school, Mr. Leichter served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Conrad K. Cyr of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and, subsequently, to the Honorable D. Brock Hornby, United States District Judge for the District of Maine. He has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers for six consecutive years.
