Leading land use attorney Clare Bronowski is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Land Use Group, specializing in land use and environmental law.  She has an active practice in administrative and municipal law, transactional real estate and land use processing and litigation.

Ms. Bronowski’s expertise covers a wide range of land development areas, including redevelopment law, zoning, planning and permitting.  She is recognized for her expertise in California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance including the preparation and legal defense of Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs) and Mitigated Negative Declarations (MNDs). She is also experienced in the processing of land development projects under the California Coastal Act before the Coastal Commission. Ms. Bronowski becomes an integral part of a land development team, working closely with her clients to guide major development projects through the complex and challenging governmental entitlement process.

Ms. Bronowski is an appointed member of the Los Angeles County Beach Commission (appointed by Supervisor Yaroslavsky), and also has served as Chair of the Baldwin Hills Conservancy, a member of the City of Los Angeles Convention Center Commission, and a member of the City of Los Angeles Civil Service Commission.

She is a member of the California State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and a former governor of the Century City Bar Association. Ms. Bronowski served on the Los Angeles Superior Court Ad Hoc Committee on CEQA Writs.

Ms. Bronowski received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Los Angeles Law School. During law school, Ms. Bronowski served as an extern law clerk to the Honorable Harry Pregerson, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and participated in the Moot Court Honors Program. Upon graduation, she earned the distinction of Order of the Coif.

She has been included in the list of Southern California Super Lawyers since 2005
