Allen Gilbert serves as Chief Operating Officer and Partner of the firm.

After graduation from the University of Southern California law school in 1978, Mr. Gilbert practiced law at the downtown Los Angeles law firm of Parker, Milliken, Clark, O'Hara & Samuelian. For twenty six years from 1984, Mr. Gilbert served as Executive Vice-President and Director of Metropolitan Theatres Corporation (a motion picture exhibitor.) During that period of time Mr. Gilbert also acted as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Metropolitan Provisions (a foodservice distribution company with $500 million in annual sales.) He was also a founding partner in Million Dollar Video Corporation which produced and distributed Spanish language movies throughout the world. Mr. Gilbert is also a licensed real estate broker and has extensive residential and commercial real estate development experience.

Mr. Gilbert is currently Chairman of the Los Angeles Chapter of World Presidents' Organization (a global organization of business leaders.)
