An Associate in Glaser Weil’s Intellectual Property Department, Christopher Dugger is actively involved in the patent, trademark and copyright litigation handled by the firm.

Mr. Dugger has extensive experience managing large trademark portfolios and litigation patent infringement actions. He has handled the national and international trademark prosecution of many multinational companies, including major VoIP providers, television manufacturers and custom automotive brands. Mr. Dugger's trademark practice includes the prosecution of U.S. trademark applications, representing applicants before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, coordinating trademark applications across multiple countries, oppositions against infringing foreign applications and trademark litigation. 

Mr. Dugger’s patent prosecution experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications for exercise devices, medical devices, televisions, computer software and hardware, and industrial fabrication processes. He handled patent litigation cases through all stages of litigation, including against assertions of patent infringement raised by non-practicing entities.

In addition to trademarks and patents, Mr. Dugger’s practice also encompasses copyright litigation, trade secret procedures including non-disclosure agreements, trade secret litigation and commercial litigation.

Mr. Dugger graduated from Pepperdine University’s School of Law with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology Law. At Pepperdine he was the President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and became a registered patent agent. Mr. Dugger attended Vanderbilt University on a National Merit Scholarship and Dean’s Merit Scholarship, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.

He is a registered patent lawyer with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
