Amin Al-Sarraf is a passionate and pragmatic advocate.  As a senior associate in Glaser Weil’s Litigation Department, Mr. Al-Sarraf has represented major corporations, small businesses, government agencies and individuals in a wide variety of civil disputes and in every stage of litigation, including as lead trial counsel.  Having co-chaired more than a half-dozen bench and jury trials, Mr. Al-Sarraf has significant courtroom experience and is particularly skilled at analyzing and communicating complex facts and legal arguments in an effective and straightforward manner. 

In addition to his civil litigation practice, Mr. Al-Sarraf is also committed to his pro bono practice.  Mr. Al-Sarraf represents refugees in asylum and Special Immigrant Visa proceedings through the International Refugee Assistance Project, and regularly volunteers at legal clinics addressing issues such as immigration, housing law and tenants’ rights.

Mr. Al-Sarraf served as a judicial extern for the Honorable R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, as well as the Honorable Judith C. Chirlin of the Los Angeles Superior Court.  He also competed as an oral advocate with the Jessup International Moot Court team, on behalf of Loyola Law School.

Mr. Al-Sarraf lives in South Pasadena with his wife, Sonya, who is an attorney with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.

    • Represented William Morris Endeavor & CBS Broadcasting Inc. in a copyright infringement case related to a CBS television series

    • Obtained multi-million dollar judgment in hospital acquisition dispute on behalf of Prime Healthcare Services, the largest for-profit hospital group in Southern California

    • Secured two unanimous jury verdicts and a bench verdict in state court on behalf of employer in three related cases involving employment discrimination and wage-and-hour claims
