David Zarmi is an accomplished appellate attorney who has successfully handled hundreds of cases in the California Courts of Appeal, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. District Court. He has also been the lead attorney in numerous cases before the California Supreme Court.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Zarmi spent eight years representing the State of California as a Deputy Attorney General in Court of Appeal and before the federal courts. He also prosecuted cases for the State of California at the trial level. He has worked as a judicial attorney for the California Court of Appeal, 4th District, where he assisted the justices in authoring opinions and gained invaluable experience in the workings of the Court of Appeal.
Prior to working as a Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Zarmi spent close to a year working as a research attorney for the Los Angeles County Superior Court directly drafting rulings for judges on all manner of civil litigation motions.
Mr. Zarmi obtained his law degree from the UCLA School of Law, where he graduated at the top of his class, and has been licensed to practice law since 2006.
