Azin Valafar is an Associate in Glaser Weil’s Litigation Department.
Prior to joining Glaser Weil, Ms. Valafar was a Partner with Valafar Law, PC, where she analyzed legal claims and litigated and developed strategies for successful outcomes. She has also served as General Counsel for both restaurant and gas station management groups.
She received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of Southern California. She earned her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was Production Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.
Outside of the law, Ms. Valafar enjoys traveling, ballroom dancing and cooking.
Drafted and negotiated the purchase and transfer of 34 restaurants in excess of $7 million.
Drafted and negotiated two commercial real estate purchase agreements in excess of $2.3 million.
Participated in the drafting and negotiating of loan and purchase documents of four defaulted notes for more than $5 million.
Participated in the drafting and negotiating of the sale of bank notes for more than $11 million.
Managed the due diligence process for sale and purchase of various business ventures.
